Spectacular scenery and a mild winter climate provide the perfect combination for winter sports in British Columbia with each resort offering a unique experience. Whistler is one of North America's premier four season mountain resorts. It's 78 miles from Vancouver. Whistler and Blackcomb mountains combine to offer over 200 marked runs and one of the longest ski seasons in North America. Big White is the second largest resort in the province. It's located southeast of Kelowna where champagne powder and mild temperatures are the norm. Sun Peaks located 45 minutes north of Kamloops offers diversity across it's three mountains...bumps, bowls, steeps and long cruisers. Revelstoke boasts North America's highest lift-serviced vertical at 5,620 feet. Grouse Mountain couldn't be more convenient because it is located right in the City of Vancouver. Kicking Horse, located just 2 1/2 hours west of Calgary, Alberta is the 4th highest vertical in North America. The resort also has exceptional backcountry access.
