Mount Snow / Haystack

Mount Snow is a four season resort located about 2.5 hours from Boston in the Green Mountains of Southern Vermont and features four mountain faces of downhill skiing and snowboarding for all abilities: Main Face, North Face, Sunbrook, and Carinthia. Tree skiing is available on all four mountain faces. Carinthia face is home to 10 terrain parks with well over 100 features and it's where you will find the super pipe. If you are unfamiliar with Mount Snow look for the jacketed Ambassadors who are a team of professional volunteers who can give you a tour over some of the terrain and orient you to lifts, lodges, etc. They offer full customer service. The ski resort offers several retail outlets stocked with all snowboarding and skiing needs . You can find dining options throughout the resort. There's lots more to do at and around Mount Snow. The tubing hill is one of the biggest in Vermont, go dogsledding, snowmobiling or head over to Adams farm for an afternoon or evening traditional Vermont sleigh ride pulled by a team of Belgian draft horses. Cross country ski trail systems, rentals, and instruction are available across the road from Mount Snow at Timber Creek. Snowshoe trail passes and rentals can be obtained at the Mount Snow Sports located at The Grand Summit Resort Hotel.
