Connecticut Resorts

There are four ski resorts in Connecticut with the highest vertical being Ski Sundown at 625ft. Mowhawk has 25 trails with 95% snowmaking. All resorts are in close proximity to Hartford. Powder Ridge Park has a 550ft vertical and is closest to Middlefield.

Mohawk Mountain

650 ft vertical, 25 trails, 8 lifts, 112 skiable acres
OPEN - 17 trails, 4 lifts
Mohawk Mountain has been in operation since 1947 and is located in Cornwall, Connecticut. They have snowmaking coverage on 95 percent of the mountain and offer night skiing on 12 of the trails every evening of the week except Sunday. Telemark ski lessons are available at the mountain.

OPEN - 14 trails, 5 lifts
Ski and snowboarding near Hartford, Connecticut. It's small but very family friendly and never packed so often there is no line for the ski lift.

OPEN - 13 trails, 3 lifts
Powder Ridge Park is located in Middlefield, in central Connecticut. The park features skiing, snowboarding and tubing plus a terrain park and airbag. The park first opened in 1959.

Located 2 miles northeast of New Hartford, Connecticut. Of the 15 trails, 14 offer night skiing. Lots of green runs make this a family friendly, lesson friendly resort.
