Sunday River

Located in Newry, Maine Sunday River runs are spread out across eight interconnected mountain peaks that each offer a different skiing experience. It spans three miles over interconnected peaks and includes almost 300 acres of developed tree skiing. Runs are serviced by one of the largest snowmaking systems in New England. Night skiing runs from 4pm-8pm on mid-winter weekends and holidays. When the sap is running experience Maine's roots by skiing to the lower slopes of South Ridge to stop at the Sugaring House for a demonstration and taste of genuine Maine maple syrup. Dining options are plenty. Choose from sushi to fine dining or opt for pizza and a beer from their own microbrewery. Sunday River has many stay-on-the-mountain lodging options. You can visit Bethel, a classic New England village just 6 miles from the ski resort by hopping on the free Mountain Explorer shuttle.
