North Dakota Resorts

North Dakota has three ski resorts two of which border the Manitoba, Canada border. Bottineau Winter Park is a small resort with 9 trails. Frost Fire is the other small resort located 2 hours southwest of Winnipeg. Huff Hills is situated central state along the western slope of the Missouri River. It is the largest ski area in the state with a vertical drop of 450 ft. Ski season at Huff Hills usually runs around Thanksgiving weekend through to the second or third week of March.
