The French ski area of Chamonix-Mont-Blanc includes 16 villages and hamlets divided into three areas: Les Grands Montets, Brevent Flegere and Domaine de Balme. Ski and snowboard over 108 km spread over 69 runs. For cross country skiers there are tracks connecting the village of Les Bois Chamonix or Argentiere track to get away in the quiet of a pine forest.
